How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account entirely from within the app. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your phone number, profile, and pending messages from our servers. Note that it will not delete messages on other people's devices.

Is Sphurja free?

Yes, Sphurja is completely free to use. We don't show ads, and we don't sell your data.

How does end-to-end encryption work?

End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) ensures that only you and the person you're communicating with can read or listen to what is sent. Nobody in between, not even Sphurja, can read your messages. The encryption keys are generated on your device and are never sent to our servers.

How do I recover my account?

Because of our strict security architecture, we cannot recover accounts or messages for you. If you lose your device and haven't backed up your keys locally, you will need to register again. Your old messages will remain inaccessible.

How do I report a user?

Open the chat with the user you wish to report, tap on their profile picture, scroll to the bottom, and select "Report User". You can optionally block them at the same time.
